Molteni Group is one of the leading and most respected international furniture groups, formed by the companies Molteni&C (home furniture), Dada (kitchens), UniFor (office furniture and work spaces), Citterio (partition systems), and the brand Armani/Dada (luxury kitchens).
After being appointed the design of the symbol and logotype for the group, a comprehensive corporate identity program was developed in order to ensure consistency to the brand and foster its reputation.
First, a thorough analysis of the brand portfolio was performed in order to define an effective strategy to position the Molteni Group’s brand in such a way that it could stand out from its competitors thanks to a unique and timeless identity.

The entire identity is based on a restrained colour palette (black, white, silver and graphite) and use of a typographic combination that already distinguished the group’s communication—Helvetica Light and Bodoni Bold, a classical matching in Italian typography.
Each of the main corporate communication touchpoint was took into consideration and accurately designed, creating a feeling of elegance and distinction that characterises the entire corporate brand identity system.
The project included the design of the letterhead, business cards for both national and international divisions, envelopes, press releases, corporate profile, invitations, footer of the newsletter, header and footer of the website, uniforms and showroom signage.
Furthermore, a careful study was carried out to ensure proper implementation of the corporate brand logo into the various identities of the sub-brands.

The entire work went under a stage-by-stage control and evaluation process performed in close collaboration with the client—a method that allowed to achieve both aesthetic consistency and functional efficiency throughout the entire corporate identity system.
The success and importance of the project brought to further collaborations with the client, of which the first one was the definition of the corporate brand identity standards and the design and editing of its guidelines.
